All have experienced back pain at one time or another when we were long time sitting in conventional chairs. The vertebrae of cervical, thoracic, or lumbar, felt relief when we instinctively put the column correctly. The vertebrae are stacked by drawing an elongated S with two concave areas: one at the level of the nape and another of the kidneys.
Uncomfortable postures held for too long in an armchair, make the column a corkscrew. These positions produce painful nodules that eventually can take over the entire back.
While sitting in chairs common, the body weight going forward, so that the back has to bear all the burden. To avoid this, after some time of sitting, “We turn off” the weight of the hip, especially when the muscles of the back without force or is tired. And if the load on the hips is prolonged, those who suffer most are the tendons and the intervertebral discs in the area of the column. This type of load heightens tensions in the zone of the neck and shoulders.
That’s why it’s recommendable to use a chair with an ergonomic design.
